a story worth remembering
As a part of our WW1 Christmas truce reenactment, we continue the story 10 years later in the year 1924 as General Haig, former General of the British Army, remembers the horrors of war and the glimpse of peace that emerged on Christmas Day 1914.
The role of Haig is played by no other than the brilliant John Rhys Davis, known for The Lord of The Rings (Gimli the Dwarf) and Indiana Jones (Sallah), who gave a superb performance!
The scenes were shot at the Milntown Estate on the Isle of Man,
Director Hannes M. Schalle with british actor John Rhys Davis discussing the next takes during a little break on set.
